Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists experienced in teletherapy to deliver virtual services within a school setting. This role focuses on providing direct speech therapy to students in a dynamic educational environment, requiring both expertise in school-based speech pathology and proficiency in telespeech methods. Location: Fortson, GA Contract Duration: August3,2026–May21,2027 (potential additional days for pre/post planning) Work Schedule: Full-time, minimum 37.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language pathology services to students across the district through teletherapy. Collaborate with district staff to assess and determine student caseloads and age group placements based on experience and preference. Maintain accurate and detailed daily service logs to document therapy provided. Adapt therapy techniques to virtual platforms to meet the needs of diverse student populations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License. Georgia Educator Certificate specifically for SLPs. Experience providing virtual speech-language therapy services in school environments. Strong organizational skills to manage and document caseload activities effectively. Comfortable with technology and telepractice platforms used in educational settings.
