Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Middle & High School is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals/TST Assistants for a 10-month (200 days) position , with summers off.

Charyl Stockwell Academy is seeking a dependable, caring, and student-focused paraprofessional/TST Assistant to join our middle and high school team. The paraprofessional works closely with teachers and support staff to provide academic, organizational, and social-emotional support to students.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support students individually and in small groups with academic and behavioral needs.
• Assist teachers with instruction, interventions, accommodations, and modifications.
• Reinforce classroom expectations and support a positive, structured learning environment.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, including classrooms, hallways, lunch, arrival, dismissal, and school activities.
• Assist students with organization, assignments, study skills, and technology.
• Collect student data and maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Collaborate professionally with teachers, special education staff, and administrators.
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students and respond appropriately to changing student needs.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the school day and occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, reach, or lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or completion of college coursework in education, child development, psychology, or a related field preferred.
