IT Support Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join a fast-paced environment supporting a large user base and a wide range of business systems. This individual will play a key role in providing end-user support, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and workplace technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for end users across desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
• Manage and close support tickets while maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Set up, configure, and support workstations, printers, and other end-user technologies.
• Collaborate with a small IT support team to maintain operational excellence and resolve escalated issues.
• Support a dynamic environment with a large user population and diverse technology needs.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and support activities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Support or Desktop Support role.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
• Strong experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a business environment.
• Experience supporting modern desktop operating systems and productivity applications.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting environments with 250+ users and multiple business-critical systems.
• Familiarity with device deployment, printer support, and end-user collaboration technologies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
