We are looking for a qualified Class A CDL Drivers to pick-up and deliver construction related materials in and around the Leander / Austin area. Responsibilities Drive and operate semi-trucks / semi-trailers MUST be familiar with safely securing loads Pre/Post trip inspections of truck Follow instructions; locate and read location and GPS. Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance and up-keep Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy Qualifications Traffic laws, DOT regulations & driving knowledge MUST be able to pass pre-employment as well as random drug testing Listening and verbal communication skills Dependability Education, Experience, and Age Requirements: CDL – Class A 2 years' experience MINIMUM required Certificate from an accredited CDL school 21 years or older Capable of lifting heavy material up to 80 lbs Additional Information Salary Range: $21.00 - 23.00+ / hr Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law Benefits: 401(k) + matching Health, Dental, Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off (PTO) Holiday Pay Suncoast is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
