Certified Welding Inspector - AWS/CWI (Phoenix, AZ) [CWI-PHX]

Overview Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an immediate opening for an AWS/CWI-Certified Welding Inspector in Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable regarding the standards related to the construction and inspection of structural steel welding and bolting. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blueprints and current code requirements. Field duties will include shop and field inspection of structural steel welds, bolting, and testing. Maintenance of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, RFIs, and other pertinent field data, as well as clear communications with the Project Manager and the client's representatives, are required. Qualifications Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Current AWS/CWI certification required. NDT certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in the construction quality industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; positive attitude, good organizational skills, and strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license and a good driving record. Candidate may be subject to a background check and drug screening test.
