Maintenance TechnicianBelstra Milling Company is a family-owned agricultural business based in Demotte, IN. Belstra is in search of a self-motivated, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to work within our feed manufacturing facilities. The operator must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):General plumbing, welding & fabrication, electrical, and carpentry skillsRoutine equipment maintenanceSet-up, fabricate, and field fit auger and conveyor systemsInstallation of electric motor and drive combinationsKnowledge of single and three-phase electrical powerAbility to work alone or as a teamBasic project management abilityKeep accurate work records and turn in paperwork daily or as requiredCapable of completing tasks correctly while focusing on quality, service, and safetySkills and Requirements (included but not limited to):Problem SolvingAttention to DetailTechnical knowledgeOrganization and task prioritizationProactivityExcellent verbal communication skillsAdaptable to working in a team or individuallyAbility to work under pressurePhysical Demands:Lift at least 60-poundsClimb ladders and stairs and work at heights with good body balanceOccasionally stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, etc.Work in a dusty environment when loading/unloadingWithstand exposure to seasonal weather conditionsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentEducation and Experience:High School diploma or G.E.D.Technical training not required, but a plusMinimum of 3-year maintenance experienceSafety & Training Requirements:Employees in this role are required to complete and maintain the following safety trainings, as applicable:General New Hire Safety TrainingPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) & RequirementsLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Forklift CertificationConfined SpacesRespirator Training (If applicable)Sal-CURB TrainingElectrical TrainingHot Work PermitsSpill Prevention Plan
