Customers are at the heart of our business.About Role:The Warehouse Lead is accountable for leading the day-to-day processes and successfully troubleshooting warehouse issues within their respective scope of management. Warehouse Leads are expected to accomplish their daily tasks in addition to managing high priority and complex customer issues through strong team coordination and follow-through.General hands-on duties may include one or more of the following tasks: receiving in product, stock put away, inventory management (cycle-count and rack confirmations), picking, packing, pulling, documenting and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously; and leading and assisting in locating appropriate product with a radio frequency system or an inventory data base program.The Warehouse Lead will ensure the required quantities and sizes are pulled, counted, weighed ability to accurately understand and follow written specifications: perform data entry; and follow customized requirements with trained knowledge of quality standards and customer specifications.Maintain and apply accurate knowledge and understanding of Wesco Warehouse work instructions, policies, and procedures in all work practices and decisionsUse and/or oversee the utilization of scales to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/customer specificationsUse and/or oversee the utilization label printer to prepare labelsLead or monitor packaging and preparation of products for shipment, ensuring there are accurate product counts for the order received, and that customer specific requirements are met in the bagging and labelling the productUse and/or oversee the utilization of the carrier and third-party shipping systems to ship product most efficientlyEnsure remaining products are returned to the proper locationMaintain and track status of customer orders, using a computer database systemServe as a point of contact for Quality, Customer Service, and Sales with regards to product or kit issues, inquiries and progress/status, within areas of responsibilityUtilize pallet jacks, drum dolly's, drive forklifts, and/or order picker, when trained/certifiedMentor and/or trouble-shoot with less experienced personnel to assist in resolving customer and/or product issuesProvide monthly productivity numbers for functional areas of responsibility to appropriate management personnelPrepare and file employee training records conducted within departmentMaintain documentation of all quality stamps and records for AS and/or ISO certification, as applicableObtain cross-training to assist in other Warehouse functions, as cross trained and requiredCommunicate with team and set the example for established standards for quality, safety and productivity, and following established policies and proceduresAttend regular and impromptu departmental meetings and company trainings, as requiredSupport organizational and operations efforts to maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations including OSHA, DOT, IATA, and RCRA (as applicable to the facility)About You:High School Diploma or GEDRecent, forklift certification training and current forklift license, is preferredValid driver's license and sustained acceptable driving record, may be required.Required 3-5 years warehousing experience in an aerospace environment or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to analyze situations, trouble shoot, and resolve warehouse issues successfullyDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate less-experienced warehouse personnelDemonstrated ability to teach and train less experienced employees by utilizing multiple methods of training and resources (such as on the job training, reading materials, testing, etc.) to ensure compliance with Wesco Work Instructions, specific customer requirements, and safety requirementsProven ability to be alert and aware of safety issues and safeguards, and apply safety standardsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential, alongside experience using Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivityQualifications:Excellent organizational and time-management skillsClear and accurate data entry and documentation skillsStrong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customersAbility to be detailed oriented and perform in-depth research to investigate discrepancies as assignedAbility to be cross trained in multiple critical areas of the warehouseStrong competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including OutlookIntermediate competency with Word and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable)Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional daily interaction with internal and/or external customersAbility to work well within a team environment and independently, as neededAbility to train and share knowledge of the integrated database systems, including Outlook, Word and Excel, as needed.Very importantly we want to be with you to help your career take off and become part of the Incora Story.So, if you feel you have all of this, and want to be part of developing the Incora Story apply now we can't wait to hear from you.The description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
