They thrive in an autonomous work environment and are comfortable translating data into actionable insights, while also being able to take direction and collaborate effectively within the finance team and cross-functionally. Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills are a must.What You'll DoSupport the monthly and year-end close process in partnership with the accounting team, including assisting with journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with preparing and gathering support for external audits and other financial reporting requestsBuild and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making across the businessPrepare monthly management reporting packages, analyzing budget-to-actual variances and key business trends and driversConduct ad hoc financial analysis on pricing, headcount, and other strategic initiatives to support leadership decision-makingUse AI-powered tools to accelerate variance analysis, reporting, and recurring data workflowsReview expense reports and departmental spend for accuracy, policy compliance, and budget alignmentCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to gather data, answer financial questions, and support business planningWhat You Bring to the PartyIdeally 1-3 years of relevant financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting experienceUnderstanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and corporate finance principles, with familiarity with accounting principles and proceduresDetail-oriented with strong technology skills, specifically exceptional Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling)Experience with NetSuite or other ERP/BI/planning tools (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Tableau) a plusComfort using or learning AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to support analysis and workflow efficiencySelf-starter who can manage priorities and deliver quality work with minimal oversightExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDesire to continue to grow through continuing training and on-the-job experienceThe pay range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 total compensation. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
