Compliance Specialist Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Georgia State University The Georgia State University Department of Athletics is committedand obligated to the principle of institutional control inoperating its athletics program in a manner that is consistent withthe letter and spirit of NCAA, Sun Belt Conference, and GeorgiaState University rules and regulations. The Georgia State University Athletics Compliance Office provides acomprehensive compliance and monitoring program that promotesknowledge of and adherence to NCAA, Sun Belt Conference andinstitutional rules and regulations among members of the Departmentof Athletics, Georgia State University personnel and members of theathletics community, thereby reducing infractions. Athletics is seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Specialist.

The ideal candidate for th e Compliance Specialist iscritical to ensuring that all compliance processes are followedaccurately and effectively within the athletic department The primary areas of focus for this position will include but notbe limited to the following: Monitoring playing and practicing seasons for all sports. Managing official and unofficial visits. Handling donation requests and promotional activities. Overseeing student-athlete employment and awards/benefits. Assisting with rules enforcement and investigating/reportingviolations.
