• Short, defined call coverage blocks in July
• Fast credentialing: ~10 days
• APP support Mon-Fri
• ERCP preferred but not required
Assignment Details
• Updated coverage dates:
- July 3 (12pm) - July 6 (7am) - July 7 (7am) - July 14 (7am)
• Coverage type: Call only
• Call: Beeper, 30-minute response
• Setting: Inpatient, Level 3 trauma
• Scope: inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers
• Support: 1 APP, Mon-Fri
• EMR: Athena and MedHost
• Credentialing: ~10 days
• Nearest airport: Gregg County (GGG)
Clinical Details
• General GI call coverage
• Required: upper and lower GI endoscopy, EGD with biopsy/foreign body/cautery/varices, PEG placement, esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation, small bowel biopsy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible/rigid), colonoscopy with biopsy/polyp excision, liver biopsy, Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
• Preferred: ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic), EUS
Requirements
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active TX license
• ACLS
Compensation
• Rate negotiable, open to your number
• Malpractice provided
• Travel and lodging reimbursed
