Tax Preparation Support Manager
Our Jackson Hewitt franchise is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Tax Preparation Support Manager to join our team in central Florida! In this leadership role, you'll play a key part in guiding tax professionals and ensuring clients receive accurate, efficient, and friendly tax preparation services. If you're passionate about taxes and love leading a team, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities include overseeing and supporting tax preparation staff to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality service; training, mentoring, and developing tax preparers on current tax laws, procedures, and best practices; managing daily office operations and ensuring smooth workflow during peak tax season; reviewing completed tax returns for accuracy and IRS compliance; resolving client inquiries, concerns, and escalated tax-related issues professionally; monitoring team performance and providing coaching and feedback to drive productivity; and ensuring adherence to Jackson Hewitt's policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements include prior experience in tax preparation, accounting, or a related financial field; previous supervisory or management experience preferred; strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and IRS regulations; excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal work environment; proficiency with tax software and basic computer applications; and PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required or ability to obtain one.
