This hospital operates a busy surgical program supporting a broad range of surgical specialties, including a high-volume Labor and Delivery program. The facility functions under a care team model that integrates CRNAs and CAAs under anesthesiologist supervision, with 100% hands-on MD involvement, and maintains established perioperative workflows designed to support quality anesthesia care delivery. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought on an ASAP ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

The area offers a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to diverse interests. Recreational pursuits include paddleboarding, kayaking, and hiking, as well as access to a natural spring-fed pool within a local park. The city is recognized for its live music scene, barbecue and brewery culture, eclectic neighborhoods, guided e-bike and bicycle tours, and day trips into the surrounding Hill Country.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an operating room setting, with shift options of 8, 10, and 12 hours; regular hours are required, with a minimum commitment of 2 weeks per month. The surgical case mix includes General, OB, Neuro, Ortho, Pediatrics, and Cardiac procedures within a care team model comprising CRNAs and CAAs at a 4:1 ratio, supported by active Labor and Delivery units with limited pediatric volume. No in-house call, weeknight pager call, or weekend pager call is required for this locum tenens assignment. Board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
