Location: Toms River, NJ Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Samples Clerk to process sample requests, prepare shipments, and assist with repackaging operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and is committed to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer and sales team sample requests, ensuring shipment within two business days or sooner.
• Coordinate and ship catalogs, literature, and promotional materials.
• Prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other shipping systems.
• Provide shipment confirmations to requestors.
• Assist with assembling and shipping marketing kits, trade show materials, and promotional items.
• Repack products into smaller boxes and bags according to specifications.
• Process small-pack orders using packing slips and packing instructions.
• Label products and shipments accurately.
• Enter inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Follow established quality procedures and departmental processes.
• Support other departmental activities and special projects as needed.
• Perform daily trips to the post office using a company-provided truck to send and collect mail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous shipping, warehouse, inventory, packaging, or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Valid drivers license.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb as required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse setting with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and occasional dusty conditions.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hard-toed shoes, and fall protection equipment when necessary.
