About the Position Restaurant Team Members play an important role in the daily success of the restaurant. In this position, you will assist guests, prepare and package food, maintain a clean and organized workplace, and support your teammates throughout each shift. Team members are trained in multiple areas of the restaurant. This cross-training approach provides opportunities to develop new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and learn how each position contributes to a successful operation. What You’ll Do Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service. Help guests understand the menu and select items that meet their preferences. Accurately take, prepare, assemble, and package orders. Prepare high-quality food while following established recipes and food-safety procedures. Maintain clean dining, kitchen, service, drive-thru, and outdoor areas. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and food-preparation equipment. Communicate clearly with guests, managers, and fellow team members. Assist teammates during busy periods to keep service moving efficiently. Follow restaurant procedures for cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and product quality. Represent the restaurant positively during community events and local initiatives. Complete additional tasks as needed to support restaurant operations. Areas of Cross-Training Depending on business needs, team members may be trained in several positions, including: Guest Service Front Counter Dining Room Drive-Thru Order Running Outdoor Guest Service Parking Lot Coordination Kitchen and Operational Support Grill and Cooking Food Preparation Service Line Order Assembly and Bagging Dishwashing and Sanitation Dole Whip Station Stocking and Restocking Line Support Team members assigned to food-preparation positions are responsible for preparing food safely, following quality standards, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas to help prevent contamination.
