What We Value: Honesty & Integrity Service & Excellence Collaboration & Teamwork Family & Community Dependability & Loyalty Compassion Roles and Responsibilities: Selects, assembles, palletizes, and otherwise handles cases, boxes, bags, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, proteins, and related products as identified on pick tickets, in the quantities specified, for delivery. Safely operates pallet jacks and stock pickers. Accountable for meeting productivity, accuracy, and safety work standards. Assists with training and development of new associates. Qualifications: High school diploma or a GED. 1+ years experience loading and selecting merchandise in a warehouse. 1-2 years experience with electric power equipment. Basic reading, writing and math skills to properly identify products and mark them for delivery. Ability to understand the slot-sequencing layout of the warehouse and labels that are placed on selected products. Ability to work in varying temperatures to select product from refrigerated, frozen, and dry picking locations. Ability to follow instructions to work safely, efficiently, and accurately using company provided equipment. Ability to lift products weighing between 40-60 lbs. Salary: $19.00 per hour plus a performance incentive. Shift: Sunday – Thursday 6:30 PM – finish (up to 6:30 AM). Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse equipment. Must use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear. Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10. Possess normal vision with or without correction and be able to distinguish colors. Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions.
