Role Description The Workers Compensation Case Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. This role is responsible for managing workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution, including gathering medical records and employment documentation, tracking treatment progress, and maintaining accurate case files. The Case Manager will communicate regularly with clients, healthcare providers, insurers, and attorneys to ensure all parties are informed and deadlines are met. Daily tasks include conducting follow-ups, coordinating appointments and evaluations, assisting with claims forms and supporting documentation, and monitoring benefits and payments. The role also involves preparing summaries and reports for attorneys, helping organize case strategy, and supporting the legal team during hearings, mediations, and negotiations. Qualifications Strong case management and organizational skills, including experience handling multiple files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining detailed records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance representatives. Knowledge of workers’ compensation processes, basic legal terminology, and familiarity with personal injury or insurance claim workflows. Proficiency with office software, case management systems, and digital document management tools. Ability to analyze documents, summarize medical and employment information, and prepare clear reports for attorneys. High level of discretion and adherence to confidentiality, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an office setting and to provide empathetic, patient-centered support to injured workers.
