About the role

Seeking a skilled mid-level Software Developer to join our Classified Systems team at the Department of Energy in Germantown, MD. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure web and desktop applications critical to national operations. The ideal candidate is proficient in C# and VB.NET, experienced with Agile methodologies, and holds an active Top Secret or DOE Q clearance. This is a long-term contractor position offering the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a secure environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure web and desktop applications using C# and VB.NET.
• Securely manage data storage and retrieval using SQL Server.
• Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and debug software issues.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Provide post-production support and troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain system integrity.
