Job Description
- Develop and implement Lean manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and enhance productivity.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
- Support the design and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Train and mentor team members on Lean principles and best practices.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics for manufacturing operations.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- A degree in engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and their application.
- Proficiency in analyzing and improving production processes.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimization.
