About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist – Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment including CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, and patient monitoring devices to acquire diagnostic images per departmental protocol
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and shielding; explain exams with consideration for physical and emotional needs while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist, following all applicable policies and procedures
• Execute Radiology Information System functions for each patient exam, including scheduling, exam completion, and image transfer to PACS
• Calibrate and verify equipment operation daily; report malfunctions and coordinate necessary repairs
• Float among radiology clinics and associated divisions as needed, including off-site locations, and assume on-call and flexible shift coverage responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current Massachusetts State Radiologic and CT Technologist license required
• ARRT registration in CT (or equivalent) required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients under physical and/or emotional stress

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year specifically in CT
• Analytical ability to apply knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Experience overseeing or instructing radiology students or support personnel
• Familiarity with quality assurance, quality improvement, and research program participation
