About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Decatur, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Experience with clinical decision unit or observation patient populations
• Strong ability to adapt quickly in high-acuity, high-volume environments
