Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist in Slidell, La to practice inpatient only. Our volume is growing so we are looking to add to our team. Position Highlights:

• Inpatient general Neurologist practice
• Schedule 8-5pm M-F (no weekends). We have telemedicine overnight and weekends.
• Rounding and consulting the floors
• Call: no call. Option for call with additional pay if you like to do that.
• Consulting - reading and ordering tests, going over plan of care, Hospitalist will consult with neurology, medication
• APPs: The NP is in person M-F and coordinates all care with our Connected Care Neurologist. Our goal is for a Neurologist to work with our APP and perhaps be a collaborating partner.
• Working a lot with Hospitalist and NP.
• Support Staff - Nursing staff in the hospital
