Details Clinic-based Interventional Radiology/Cardiology setting Provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing invasive interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, and cardiac catheterization Day shift schedule with 2x10-hour shifts per week, 0700-1730 May be required to take on-call shifts for the Interventional Unit as needed Requirements Active RN license in the State of Oregon currently in hand Current BLS and ACLS certifications required IV certification required Minimum two years of experience required, with at least one year in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or IR preferred Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing BSN preferred Certifications such as RCIS or NIH Stroke Scale preferred Conscious sedation training and monitor role experience preferred Bilingual English-Spanish speaking preferred Additional Information Serves as circulator, scrub, or monitor technologist depending on assignment during interventional and catheter-based procedures Administers medications including anticoagulants, vasoactive agents, contrast, and emergency drugs Monitors patients receiving moderate sedation, tracking vital signs, hemodynamics, oxygenation, and level of consciousness Collaborates with radiology technicians and physicians to manage contrast allergies and sensitivities Assists with patient preparation, positioning, and timeout verification processes Performs sheath pulls and vascular access management as needed Supports department operations including supply management, room turnover, and equipment maintenance Works closely with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, Rad Techs, and nursing leadership Provides culturally competent, age-specific patient care American Traveler Job ID P-742934.
