CNC Machinist (Gear Hobbing Machine)

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist with mechanical troubleshooting skills to join their team. This hands-on role is responsible for setting up and running a diverse lineup of precision machinery, executing product reworks, and performing basic equipment upkeep. salary: $43,550 - $52,000 per year

work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM

Responsibilities

• Complete independent machine setups by verifying that correct tooling, parts, and offsets are accurately utilized.
• Observe machining cycles actively to identify mechanical irregularities or out-of-tolerance behavior, adjusting machine controls as necessary
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor mechanical troubleshooting on shop machinery to ensure optimal equipment uptime and safety.
• Measure completed components against technical blueprints using micrometers (both internal and external), dial indicators, and calipers to verify calibration.
• Prior hands-on experience operating a  Hartech Gear Hobbing machine  preferred.

The essential functions of this role include:
