Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions. This role involves managing acute health crises and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, identifying changes in condition promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Use advanced monitoring equipment to evaluate patient status continuously.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and aftercare instructions.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• Require AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications; PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate at least 3 years of ICU experience.
• Verify high school diploma or equivalent in compliance with CAP requirements.
