Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide comprehensive perinatal care. The candidate will support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess expectant mothers' health and establish care plans tailored to their needs.
• Monitor labor progress and fetal heart rates to ensure safety for mother and baby.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist during delivery, including preparing necessary equipment and providing support.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care practices.
• Document care activities accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid BSN and a current RN license.
• Possess at least 2+ years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and labor management.
• Be Flexible with working hours, including overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members.
