Mental Health Technician - Part Time Nights

Job DescriptionResponsible for assisting unit staff in the provision of Psychiatric Rehabilitative services to patients on the Psychiatric Inpatient Unit. Assists with structured activities, personal care needs and discharge planning. Provides crisis intervention techniques as necessary, to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.QualificationsWork requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Prior healthcare experience with demonstrated competency in a psychiatric setting preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English in a clear and concise manner. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire or within 6 months of hire.
