Accounting Assistant

Human Resources And Accounting Assistant Dual RoleWe’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant/Accounting Assistant to support our Human Resources department and payroll department with administrative tasks.Responsibilities:Assist with daily HR operations and clerical dutiesMaintain and update employee records (digital and physical)Support recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews and posting job adsHelp onboard new hires and coordinate training sessionsAct as a liaison between HR and employees to resolve queriesPrepare reports related to staffing, performance, and trainingRespond to employee payroll inquiries professionallyCollaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracyAssist with year-end reporting, W-2 distribution, and auditsQualifications:Strong organizational and communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionAbility to stay on task with minimal supervisionExperience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks)Understanding of wage laws and payroll tax regulationsStrong attention to detail and confidentialityPrior experience in payroll or accounting is a plus
