Senior Data AnalystData Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to support the Naval Criminal Investigative Services IT at NCIS Headquarters in Quantico, VA. This role focuses on advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and integration of data-driven solutions to enhance investigative and intelligence capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data science methodologies, software integration, and scalable analytics architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain advanced data science and analytics solutionsDesign and execute data analysis workflows using statistical and mathematical modeling techniquesBuild and manage ETL pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering structured and unstructured dataDevelop and integrate APIs and data services to support enterprise analytics platformsPerform software integration and testing, including development and execution of test plans and scriptsUtilize Python, R, and other scripting languages for data analysis and automationApply data mining, graph algorithms, and statistical techniques to support mission objectivesWork with SQL and NoSQL databases, search indexes, and web application serversLeverage tools such as Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, Requests, and related data science librariesCreate data visualizations and dashboards using spreadsheets and other toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure analytics solutionsRequired QualificationsMaster's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of professional experience in data science or advanced analyticsExperience with software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scriptsStrong experience with scripting languages such as Python and RExperience with data science, data mining, statistics, and graph algorithmsProficiency with SQL, NoSQL, API development, ETL pipelines, web application servers, and search indexing technologiesExperience using tools and frameworks such as:Python, Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, NumPy, RequestsStrong foundation in complex mathematical and statistical conceptsExperience applying statistical analysis and operations research methodologiesProficiency in data manipulation and visualization using spreadsheets and related toolsCertifications (Preferred) One or more relevant industry certifications, such as:CompTIA Cloud Essentials, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+Microsoft Technical Associate (MTA), MCPD, MCSD, MCSECertificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)EMC Data Science Associate (EMCDSA)Cloudera Certified Data Scientist (CCDH) / Certified Cloud Professional (CCP)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)About Data Intelligence, LLC:Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is a small business that provides Information Technology System Development (Agile, DevSecOps, Cloud Platform support) Cybersecurity (RMF, Security Engineering, Cross Domain Solutions), Tactical Data Link Standards Development and Testing, and Logistics/Warehousing services to U.S. federal clients both CONUS and OCONUS.
