Travel Stepdown RN

Role:

A Stepdown RN provides specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, requiring close monitoring and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms
• administer medications
• assist with cardiac procedures
• observe patient conditions
• respond to emergencies
• document assessments
• educate patients on cardiac health
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• ensure safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred: PCCN
• NIHSS
• other relevant certifications.
