We are seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our support center and contribute to our continued success.



General Purpose of the Job


To support the Accounting Department and the company by carrying out essential accounting and administrative functions for an expanding hospitality group.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations.
• Assist the Senior Accountant with daily and monthly accounting functions, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage and reconcile employee credit card transactions.
• Perform General Cashier duties as required.
• Assist the Senior Accountant in tracking and maintaining company insurance policies.
• Prepare mailings and priority shipments for the Accounting Department and Corporate Office.
• Maintain organized files and prepare correspondence as needed within the department.
• Perform other financial or administrative tasks as required by Management.

Skills and Abilities

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, or a bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in accounting, is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role of similar capacity is required.
• Must be highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with restaurant-specific accounting software is a significant plus.
• Experience with Restaurant365 is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have a strong work ethic, with the flexibility and initiative to get the job done in a fast-paced environment.
