About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Experience with EPIC, STEMI, and Stroke facility Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Emergency Department. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling. The client has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. The candidate must be aware of the mandatory EKG exam. The position requires weekend and holiday coverage as needed. The department cares for all age groups, including neonates and geriatrics. Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health. Patient ratios in the Emergency Department are 4:1. The facility is certified for STEMI and Stroke care. Experience in trauma care is preferred. Candidates must pass a background check without any open cases. The candidate should be prepared for compliance requirements prior to the start date.
