Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment alongside a skilled group of healthcare professionals in our orthopedic unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures for orthopedic cases, including large joints and spine surgeries.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in daily huddles and team meetings to discuss patient care and unit operations.
• Manage call schedule and availability as needed, with an expectation of approximately 4 calls per month, Monday through Friday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN License required.
• Experience in orthopedic nursing, specifically with large joint and spine surgeries.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team comprised of PAs, CSTs, NPs, and support techs.
• Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and patient safety standards.
