Forklift Operator - Yard

Warehouse Associate & Forklift Operator (Industrial)

A premier industrial distribution facility in the Hillsboro is looking for a motivated, growth-minded Warehouse Associate to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment with lots of movement and wants to learn multiple facets of the business.


Pay Rate: $20-22/hr to start (depending on recent experience)
Shift: Monday - Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull, prepare, and stage customer orders accurately for shipment.
  • Customer Service: Assist clients at the service counter, pulling orders efficiently and providing helpful service.
  • Material Handling: Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming inventory and materials.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport heavy, bulky, and oddly shaped products (such as piping) throughout the warehouse and outdoor yard.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse and yard remain clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ year(s) of recent warehouse experience is required (experience in heavy industrial settings or pipe yards is a major plus).
  • Forklift Skills: 1+ year(s) of recent sit-down forklift experience, with a strong, safety-minded attitude.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to work outside in the elements, handle bulky/heavy materials, and get hands-on and dirty when necessary.
  • Physical Ability: Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Skills: Ability to read and understand work orders, with the capacity to quickly learn product knowledge.
