Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect and interpret data, assess patient status, and identify care needs; develop and implement a plan with measurable outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse effects, and respond promptly to physiological changes.
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in discharge planning, and provide education to patients and family members.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to other healthcare staff and supervise assigned personnel to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure timely communication with the treatment team.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (Oregon) or as required by the state of assignment.
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU or acute care nursing experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; CPR certification may be specified by policy.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced short-term acute care setting and to work 12-hour night shifts.
