Position Overview

Essential Functions:

Assist in the execution of Agency Insurance Sales and Marketing Business Plan
Identify and develop current and future insurance sales opportunities and strategies.
Establish, build, and expand relationships for insurance sales business development

Additional Responsibilities:

Proactively follow-up on insurance sales business issues and related activities and opportunities.
Prospect for new insurance sales client and business relationships (networking, telephone and face-to-face calls)

Requirements

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Proactive in problem solving
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property and Casualty license (must be willing to attain)
• Life and Health license (must be willing to attach)
