As a Journeyman Plumber, you will rely on your vast knowledge to: Represent the company professionally in provided attire, maintaining a clean and polished image of company property. Adopt a safety-first mindset and courteous demeanor with all customers and associates. Manage appointments efficiently with dispatch. Perform diagnostic services and installation of plumbing in residential environments in accordance with relevant codes. Create an authentic experience for the customer around quotes based on diagnostics and installations. Maximize lead conversion opportunities when customers need more attention than initially scope. Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and partner with the office for billing activities such as PO’s and parts receipts/slips. Attend regular meetings and trainings. Choose to work a 4×10 schedule or a 5×8 schedule. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of verifiable plumbing experience in a residential service and maintenance operation. Knowledge of local and national plumbing codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Basic change order cost estimating experience. Basic computer proficiency, Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as required by the job. GED or High School Diploma. Valid Indiana and/or Kentucky Journeyman or Tradesman license (both preferred). Working Conditions Position requires working in a variety of environments, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and outdoor sites.
