Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in a mixed medical-surgical unit, focusing on a range of patient needs while maintaining high standards of care. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure safe and effective treatment protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes in condition
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and post-procedural care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Utah
• BLS and NIH certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous charge experience is a plus
