Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Oncology for a travel assignment in Oak Lawn, IL. This role involves working in an outpatient infusion center, providing specialized care to adult oncology patients. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, allowing for work-life balance without weekend rotations.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Administer chemotherapy and supervise long-term IV antibiotic therapies
• Perform blood and platelet infusions, injections, and peripheral IV access
• Ensure skillful operation of infusion and medical equipment, such as Alaris pumps and Pyxis
• Assess and respond to patient needs, recognizing adverse reactions promptly
• Coordinate with clinic leads and other staff for optimal patient care
• Float among Christ, South Suburban, and Trinity infusion centers as required

Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• BLS and ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
• A minimum of 1 year of outpatient infusion/oncology experience
• Proficient in port access and blood draw techniques
• EPIC experience preferred but not required
