Job Details Job Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 Position Type: Part Time Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and overall appearance of guest suites and public areas within the resort. This role involves cleaning, organizing, and maintaining guest suites and common areas to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities Room Cleaning Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to the resort's standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms. Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed. Replenish guest room supplies, such as toiletries, coffee, and tea. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Housekeeping Manager. Public Area Maintenance Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational facilities. Ensure public areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards. Monitor and replenish supplies in public restrooms and other common areas. Guest Interaction Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously. Provide information and assistance to guests as needed. Inventory Management Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities. Ensure proper storage and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment. Adherence to Standards Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Team Collaboration Work closely with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations. Assist with special projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper. Support and train new housekeeping staff as needed. QualificationsQualifications: Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs). Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Certification in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus. Personal Attributes: Professional appearance and demeanor. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Working Conditions: Work is primarily conducted in guest rooms and public areas within the resort. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
