Position An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-time Catering Assistant within our Catering Department based at Arran War Memorial Hospital. Hours Post 1 = 18 hours per week working 2 days. This post is offered on a permanent basis. Post 2 = 20 hours per week working 5 over 7 days. This post is offered on a permanent basis. What You Will Do Provide a high-quality catering service for patients within Arran War Memorial Hospital. The postholder will be responsible for the safe reheating and service of patient meals using the iWave meal regeneration system, which utilises barcode technology to ensure correct cooking settings are applied. Duties will also include the preparation of light meals and snacks, such as sandwiches and soups, maintaining food hygiene standards, monitoring allergen compliance, and undertaking cleaning duties within the kitchen and associated food preparation areas.
