PRO Territory Manager-Los Angeles

Position Summary Pro Territory Manager – Los Angeles market. Manage profitable B2B relationships, develop new business, maintain key accounts, and support market growth strategies. Reports to Sales Director. Compensation & Benefits On‑Target Earnings (OTE) model: base salary plus commission incentives paid monthly plus bi‑weekly base. Targeted salary: $50,000 base (range $50k–$60k) with $50k OTE variable potential. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, voluntary benefits, 401(k), and paid time off. Primary Responsibilities Develop, maintain and grow existing accounts; prospect new business and increase portfolio and market share. Meet or exceed annual sales targets and planned growth for assigned accounts. Achieve Gross Margin targets; manage special charges and price overrides to maximize margin. Increase account average dollar volume through needs analysis and upselling. Coordinate sales with marketing programs and promote product/company initiatives. Visit Pro customers regularly; attend trade shows, store events, and industry events. Log all sales activity in CRM, analyze reports, and ensure data integrity. Collaborate with Sales Team, Market Manager, and Sales Director on performance and growth strategy. Partner with support teams (stores, distribution) to meet sales and operational objectives. Forecast market needs and support merchandise planning. Participate in Pro meetings and regional/national calls as required. Education, Experience & Skills Education Minimum: High School or GED; college degree in business or related field preferred; U.S. military service an advantage. Experience 3+ years in outside sales or sales territory management. Proven record in commission‑based sales. CRM tool experience; knowledge of marine products and industry preferred. Skills & Knowledge Strong communication, organization, and customer service. Presentation, analytical, and negotiation skills. Sense of urgency; ability to work fast‑paced.
