- CNC Operation - Run CNC lathes, mill-turns, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills to produce high-quality parts
- Setup & Adjustments - Load parts, set offsets, prove programs, perform edits, deburr, and inspect
- Blueprint Interpretation - Read drawings, GD&T, manuals, and specifications to determine tolerances and machining sequences
- Inspection & Measurement - Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and CMM data to verify accuracy
- Troubleshooting - Identify malfunctions, out-of-tolerance conditions, and adjust machines or tooling as needed
- Collaboration - Work with supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Maintenance - Keep equipment clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Compliance - Follow AS9100, safety regulations, and company policies
- High School Diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred
- 2-year degree in Precision Machining or 2+ years CNC machining experience in aerospace, medical, or high-precision environments
- Experience machining medium to high-complexity parts
- Knowledge of programming language , tooling, inserts, fixtures, and machining accessories
- Strong understanding of GD&T , tolerances, and engineering drawings
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, CMM exposure)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Strong math skills (geometry, algebra, basic trigonometry)
- Ability to run multiple machines independently or as part of a team
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
