Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join a local manufacturing team. This position is responsible for machine repairs, fabrication projects, and preventive maintenance activities in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: Saturday to Monday 7am-7pm

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance activities scheduled through CMMS
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform machine repairs and maintenance on production equipment
• Operate machining equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses, and band saws
• Complete welding and fabrication projects
• Accurately document maintenance activities in CMMS
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in maintenance areas
• Follow all company safety, health, and environmental procedures
• Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certification OR minimum of 2 years related maintenance experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Basic electrical and mechanical repair knowledge
• Welding and fabrication experience a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Certifications

• Forklift (Hilo) operator certification
• Scissor lift certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift
• Regular lifting up to 20 lbs
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed
