Nurse Practitioner Requirements:

Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specializations in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice
Current licensure as both a PMHNP and FNP
Minimum of 2 years of experience in both mental health and primary care settings
Strong clinical skills in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment across both specializations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health and psychiatric evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for both primary care and mental health
Provide follow-up care and manage chronic conditions and mental health disorders
Lead therapy groups and educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver holistic care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Participate in leadership and triage meetings
Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in both family practice and psychiatric care
