What You'll Do

• Provide specialized cardiac and peripheral vascular care in a Cath Lab setting
• Support complex interventional procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, laser atherectomy, and more
• Circulate, monitor, and scrub in a variety of procedures such as coronary artery interventions, structural heart, and neuro interventions
• Administer vasoactive drugs, sedation, and critical patient assessments
• Use advanced imaging and monitoring equipment, including Philips systems, IVUS, EKOS, FFR, among others
• Support patient safety and ensure sterile techniques during procedures
• Float between facilities: Willis Knighton Pierremont, Bossier, and WKMC North (back-up)

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or state license eligible
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• At least 3 years of RN experience, with substantial cath lab experience (preferably 1.5+ years recently)
• Ability to scrub and monitor complex interventional procedures; experience with peripheral and cardiac interventions is ideal
• Strong critical thinking, sterile technique, and rapid response skills

This assignment involves working in a leading facility in Shreveport, LA, providing cath lab services across multiple locations. The role includes performing complex diagnostic and interventional procedures, supporting patient care teams, and working with advanced technology and equipment. Orientation includes one week at the Innovation Center plus precepting if necessary.
