Inventory Specialist - 1st Shift

What you’ll do on a typical day: Maintain accurate inventory counts Ensure quality assurance processes and procedures are followed Interact with fully automatic equipment Perform product counts Stage materials within designated areas Operate all necessary warehouse equipment and tools Utilize a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need: Experience with Microsoft Office Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime, as needed It’d be great if you also have: High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and/or inventory Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Good knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management System)/Blue Yonder This job requires the ability to: Move materials weighing up to 500 lbs. using wheeled carts Carry objects 3-5 feet weighing up to 50 lbs, routinely Stand for prolonged periods of time >4 hours Walk continuously for more than 10,000 steps (4-5) miles per day Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull objects of various shapes and sizes in team lift.
