Labor & Employment Partner

A leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Partner to join its South Florida team. This is a particularly attractive opportunity for a partner looking for the resources and client base of a large national firm, but with

greater rate flexibility, meaningful opportunities to generate work across practice groups, and a culture that prioritizes work/life balance.

Candidates should be established Labor & Employment partners or counsel with a reasonable portable book of business and an interest in continuing to grow their practice within a collaborative platform.

Partners outside of Florida interested in relocating to South Florida are encouraged to apply (in addition to those already located in South Florida).

The right candidate may sit in any one of the firm's South Florida offices.

The Opportunity: This firm has an established Labor & Employment practice representing clients across a notably diverse mix of industries, including

transportation, health care, private equity, retail, and hospitality .

The group handles the full range of employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims; wage-and-hour disputes; restrictive covenant and trade secret matters; whistleblower claims; employment contract disputes; and class and collective actions. The practice also regularly advises employers on day-to-day workplace issues, risk management, and employment strategy.

One of the key advantages of the platform is its

significant rate flexibility , giving partners greater latitude to retain existing clients, pursue new relationships, and take on matters that may be difficult to accommodate at firms with increasingly high billing rates.
