Our organization is currently seeking a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to become a part of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics . This division operates within the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital and is composed of a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, psychologists, speech therapists, and master's level clinicians. We serve a diverse patient population from a catchment area encompassing 25 counties around the Capital District of New York.

The responsibilities of our team include:

• Conducting diagnostic evaluations and managing medical care for patients up to 21 years old who present with a variety of developmental issues, such as:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Developmental delays
  • ADHD
  • Learning disorders
  • Behavioral health issues, including anxiety
  • Follow-up care for neonates
• Collaborating with pediatric specialists in fields such as psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology, and genetics
• Implementing recent innovations in practice, including a Medical Home for children with ASD, the establishment of a feeding team, and a "fast track" developmental screening process for children under five.

Ideal candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Board certification or eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
• A passion for creating innovative programs within the realm of developmental and behavioral practice
• Experience or a desire to educate house staff and medical students
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations

The competitive salary range for the Assistant Professor position is between $190,000 and $198,000 , depending on experience. Compensation for higher academic ranks will be discussed during the interview process.
