Effingham - Warehouse Labor (Niccum) The Warehouse Labor employee is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through the safe handling, storage, and transportation of agronomy products. This position helps maintain accurate inventory, prepare customer and intercompany shipments, assist with seed treatment operations, and ensure equipment and facilities are maintained to company standards. Location 1203 W Niccum Ave Ste 4218, Effingham, IL 62401 Reports to Seed & Crop Protection Director Salary $20-$28 per hour Key Responsibilities Follow all company policies and workplace safety procedures. Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently. Palletize, organize, and prepare shipments for transfer to other locations. Ensure accurate documentation and verification of all inbound and outbound seed shipments. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of physical seed inventory. Assist with seed bean treatment operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety requirements. Operate company vehicles and transport agronomy products between Equity locations Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to company standards Required Knowledge, Skills, And Leadership Characteristics High School Diploma or equivalent. Agricultural background with exposure to Agri-business involving ag supplies and crop inputs. Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills Possess a self-motivating personality as well as team-building skills Demonstrates the ability to interact effectively with management and customers Class A CDL with X endorsement Work Environment Nature of business may require extended hours during peak seasonal periods. While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical equipment, in outside weather conditions and may have exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. You may occasionally work in high, precarious places and be exposed to weather conditions. The noise level in work environment can be loud. Travel The employee may be required to travel to other facilities in The Equity trade area, conferences, educational opportunities, and other job-related activities.
