Work location: Texas Health Cleburne 201 Walls Dr. Cleburne TX 76033

Work environment: Surgery Department

Work hours: Full-Time, 40 hours weekly, Day shift. Monday Friday 6:30a - 3p

Call is required 4-5 weekdays per month and 1 weekend Saturday and Sunday for our 5 member CST team taking equal call. PTO is covered within the team so some months may require more call than others. Response time is 45 minutes. Our service lines are Robotic, Orthopedic, General, podiatry, GYN, GI.

Qualifications:

Education H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Req Or Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Req Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Pref Experience 1 Year current operating room experience Pref Licenses and Certifications CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req Or CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire Req Or CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years Req Or LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req Skills A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, acceptable grooming practices and ability to function in a fast-paced, changing environment.
